OYEP offers a work experience in a summer camp structure with a safe and predictable environment with a variety of amenities.
- Great facilities and accommodations
- Catered meals with in-live chef that can accommodate any food allergies
- Gender sensitive accommodations
- Nightly activities and campfires
- Live-in experienced management and on-site educations support
- Sports equipment, swimming spots, and workout spaces, where available
- Bi-weekly pay with direct deposit, requires bank account*
- Can provide transportation for rural students
6 Week Schedule Structure:
- 6 days of work with one day off
- Daily wakeups between 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, depending on schedule.
- 5-8 hour workdays with 1 hour lunch breaks
- Day-off – trips into town, when possible
- One week spent at a post secondary institution for STEM and Trades
