OYEP offers a work experience in a summer camp structure with a safe and predictable environment with a variety of amenities.

  • Great facilities and accommodations
  • Catered meals with in-live chef that can accommodate any food allergies
  • Gender sensitive accommodations
  • Nightly activities and campfires
  • Live-in experienced management and on-site educations support
  • Sports equipment, swimming spots, and workout spaces, where available
  • Bi-weekly pay with direct deposit, requires bank account*
  • Can provide transportation for rural students 

6 Week Schedule Structure:

  • 6 days of work with one day off
  • Daily wakeups between 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, depending on schedule.
  • 5-8 hour workdays with 1 hour lunch breaks
  • Day-off – trips into town, when possible
  • One week spent at a post secondary institution for STEM and Trades
