Grad 2022 Update - Feb 2022
Parents/Guardians and Graduates,
We hope you are all doing well and are staying healthy! We wanted to share some Grad information with you.
Just in case you didn't see the previous emails the Grad is Friday, May 20th at the Winspear.
Ceremony Details: Doors at the Winspear will open at 1 PM where there will be a charcuterie, fruit, and dessert reception for Grads and their guests. Grads will also have the opportunity for photos with family and friends prior to the ceremony.
The ceremony will start at 2:00 and the seating will be first come first serve - there are no bad seats at the Winspear. There will be a short intermission at the end of the ceremony for Grads to remove/return their grad gowns. Grads will cross the stage one more time, this time in their grad attire, and walk through the Winspear aisles for their Grad March. After the Grad March, we will have a candy bar for the students along with photo booth opportunities. Grads and their families can then make their own arrangements for dining.
Ticket Information: Currently the capacity of the Winspear is 50% and the cost of the venue is the same as it would be at full capacity. Therefore if the capacity remains at 50% the cost for the tickets would be approximately $52 per person. Each Grad would be able to purchase a total of 4 tickets - their own and three others.
If we are at 100% capacity the cost for the tickets will be approximately $35 per person. Each grad will be able to purchase 8 tickets to start with - if more are needed we will work with the family to access more seats.
At this time we are just trying to get an idea of how many tickets most families will need if we are at full capacity. If you could take the time to fill out this google form letting us know how many tickets you would require (including your Grad) that would be really appreciated.
Preliminary Grad Ticket Numbers
The grad ceremony will be live-streamed so that any family members that are not able to attend will be able to enjoy the experience virtually.
The Winspear follows the Vaccine Exemption Program.
Grad Mass: Grad mass will be Thursday, May 12th at Holy Family Parish at 7:00 pm. We will assess closer to the date what the capacity of the mass will be.
Dance: The dance is planned for Friday, May 13th at the school. More information about the dance will follow as we continue to monitor the COVID restrictions.
Grad Photo re-takes: Photo re-takes will be March 21-24, this will be the LAST opportunity to have photos taken at the school. Here is the link if needed. http://www.iconexp.
Grad Cap and Gown: Grad cap and gowns will be handed out the week of May 9th and returned after the ceremony. There will be a deposit required at the time of pick up.

Graduation Information will be posted on the SACHS Grad 2022 google classroom under the Grad Info Topic. Please have your child check there frequently.
Retakes are March 20-24.
